# Change a business (connected the wrong one?)

Picked the wrong listing, or your business moved to a new Google listing? Change it instead of starting again. The new business takes the old one's place, so **everything else stays as it is**: your plan, your trial and its end date, your widgets, their designs and the embed codes already on your website.

## On the website

1. Open **Your Business**.
2. Click the **swap** icon (two arrows) next to the business.
3. Paste the right business's Google Maps link and click **Find my business**.
4. Check the name, click **Change to this business**, then confirm.

Its reviews import in a minute or two. Your widgets show them as soon as they arrive, with no new embed code to paste.

## In the Shopify app

1. Open **Business** in the app.
2. Click **Change business**.
3. Paste the right business's Google Maps link, click **Find business**, check the name and click **Change to this business**.

Your reviews blocks and the floating badge keep working and show the new business.

## Good to know

- **Changing back never counts.** A business you had before usually comes back with its reviews straight away.
- You can change a business **a few times on your own**. After that, email support@reviewpine.com and our team will add the business for you.
- On a free trial the trial carries on with the new business; it does not start again. A business that already had a free trial on another account can't be switched to during a trial.
- On the Free plan, the new business becomes your free business.
- Nothing changes on Google.
