Businesses without a public address

Plumbers, tutors, consultants and other service-area businesses work fully with ReviewPine, even when Google hides the street address.

Many businesses serve customers at their location and choose to hide their address on Google, for example electricians, home tutors, caterers, cleaners and consultants. Google calls these service-area businesses.

ReviewPine works for them exactly as it does for shops:

  • You add them with the same Google Maps link.
  • Their reviews import and display normally.
  • The "Write a review" button still opens Google's review form for the business.

What is different#

  • No address is shown on Your Business, because Google does not publish one.
  • The link to your listing opens it on Google Maps rather than a street location.

Search for the business name in Google Maps, open the listing and copy its share link as usual. If the listing does not appear in Maps, search the business name in Google Search, open its profile panel, and use Share from there.
