Page speed and SEO

The widget is built to keep your website fast: tiny, loaded in the background, and no layout jumps. Here is what that means for speed scores and SEO.

Review widgets are often the heaviest thing on a small business website. This one is designed not to be.

Why it stays fast#

  • Tiny: the widget's code is a small fraction of a typical web page, and it is served from a global network close to your visitors.
  • Loaded in the background: the async script never blocks your page from displaying.
  • Only when needed: the widget waits until a visitor scrolls near it before loading your reviews.
  • No layout jumps: space is reserved before the reviews arrive, so your page does not shift (good for Core Web Vitals).
  • No extra fonts: it uses your website's font or the device's built-in fonts.

SEO#

  • Your page's speed scores stay intact, which matters for Google rankings.
  • Real customer reviews on your pages build trust and keep visitors engaged.

Note: Google does not show review stars in search results for reviews a business displays about itself, whatever tool shows them. We do not add review stars markup, so your site stays within Google's guidelines.
