My Google Maps link is not recognised

1. Open your own listing first. Copy the link from your business's own page on Google Maps, not from a list of search results or a directions screen.
2. Use Share → Copy link. Short links like maps.app.goo.gl/… work best.
3. Paste the whole link, including https://.
4. Try the Place ID instead. It starts with ChIJ and can be found with Google's free Place ID finder.
5. Wrong business found? Do not confirm it. Copy the link again from the correct listing.

If a link still does not work, click Report this link under the error. We review every report and add support for new link formats.
