Reviews missing or out of date
Why a new review is not in your widget yet, why some reviews are hidden, and how to fix it.
A new review is not showing#
- Wait for the daily update. On paid plans, new reviews are added automatically every day.
- Refresh the business on Your Business (paid plans, once a day). See keep your reviews up to date.
- Google can take a little while to publish a new review publicly. If it is not visible on Google Maps yet, it cannot be imported yet.
Some reviews are hidden in the widget#
Check the widget's Reviews shown settings:
- Minimum rating may hide lower ratings.
- Minimum review length may hide star-only or short reviews.
- Max reviews may limit how many appear.
The review count looks different from the number of cards#
The header shows your total Google review count. The cards show the reviews that match your filters, and very long histories show the most recent reviews.
A review was deleted on Google but still shows#
Deleted reviews drop out as your review history is refreshed. If one needs to go immediately, email [email protected] with the business and reviewer name.
